Cloudflare announced general availability of full transaction detections and response rules in its web application firewall. The feature correlates an HTTP request with the response it produced, adding outcome context to request-level inspection.
What the new capabilities do
- Detections can analyze request and response properties together.
- Customers can use managed protections or build custom policies from the resulting signals.
- Response rules can replace a matching origin response before it reaches the requester.
Cloudflare says detection results are available in Security Analytics and the capabilities are available to customers on all plans.
