Interview preparation is more effective when you can explain a real project than when you memorize a list of framework facts. Choose a piece of work where you can describe the user, the constraints, and your decisions.

Prepare a concise walkthrough

  • Start with what the user needed and what you were responsible for.
  • Explain one important implementation choice and one alternative you considered.
  • Show how you checked keyboard access, responsive behavior, errors, or loading states where relevant.

Be ready to discuss tradeoffs

A good explanation includes what you would change with more time and why. Do not claim a page is accessible or fast based only on appearance; describe the checks you ran and what you learned.

Practice aloud with a five-minute limit, then leave time for questions. Have a demo or screenshots ready, but do not expose private project data or customer information.
