Old articles can contain outdated prices, links, product names, or instructions. A visible date alone does not make an update meaningful; check whether the information has actually changed.

Use a focused review checklist

  • Verify facts and links against current primary sources.
  • Update examples or steps that no longer match the product.
  • Keep the original publication date and show an updated date only after a substantial revision.

Do not change dates just to make a page appear fresh. If an article is no longer accurate or useful, revise it honestly, redirect it when appropriate, or remove it.
